During planned professional break, I undertook a personal project to enhance my technical skillset and build innovative web solutions, developing my portfolio website, www.13techs.com, using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind, while adhering to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. I utilized AWS Terraform for infrastructure as code, integrated CI/CD pipelines via GitHub for streamlined deployments, and implemented robust security measures using Lambda@Edge, ACM, and IAM roles for access control, with CloudFront managing CDN distribution. DynamoDB and AppSync/GraphQL facilitated real-time visitor interactions and likes counts, while Brotli and GZIP compression techniques were applied to optimize performance. I successfully reduced monthly costs to under $2 by leveraging AWS Free-Tier services and budget monitoring. A significant focus of this project was enhancing customer engagement, achieved through the creation of an AI-powered chatbot using Langchain, HuggingFace’s all-MiniLM-L6-v2 embeddings, and Google's gemma2-9b-it LLM. This personalized chatbot, backed by a Lambda-based API, provided real-time, interactive user experiences. Currently, I am working on AI-driven recommendation and inference systems using generative AI, tools, and agents, expanding my expertise to develop innovative solutions focused on business applications and user engagement.
